Why everyone should vote for my animal
Whether he is named after the snow machine or the North Star, Polaris from Whale Cove, NU is a true Northern dog! He learned to pull a sled at an early age and is happiest on sunny cold days "snorkling" in the snow! He also loves chasing siksik, catching a Honda ride and being spoiled by children!

Polaris was adopted by a family who has fostered over 50 Nunavut dogs in efforts to maintain safe populations in communities without full-time veterinary care. He kindly shares his bed, but not his food!

Polaris is hoping his bright blue eyes that sparkle like snow crystals caught in sunlight will entice you to open your wallets and support this amazing organization, even though at his last checkup with them, he was told to loose a bit of weight. His reply was "I'm not fat, I'm just a little husky"!
