Why everyone should vote for my animal
Henry is a Husky mix that was rescued from Northern Labrador, Canada at 7 weeks old. For the first 2 years of his life he worked as a veterinary clinic dog as he would accompany me to work almost every day. He meet many animals over the years including puppies, rodents, reptiles, rabbits and his personal favourite, kittens. Since his retirement from the clinic, we’ve travelled the island of Newfoundland many times, camping and hiking along the way. Camping is one of Henry’s favourite activities and we’re working on visiting all the provincial and national parks on the island. We’ve taken a special interest in scent work training and hope to one day to work in the field as a conservation detection dog team. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to live in a National Park last summer and hope to do the same in the future!
