Why everyone should vote for my animal
We originally went to the SPCA to look at another dog but he wasn’t a good fit for us. Since we were there I asked if they might have another dog that might be more suitable for our family. They suggested Callie. She was a bully breed (never had one before), didn’t like other dogs and didn’t like all men. She was 8 years old and had been there 2.5 months. The test was when they brought her out to meet my husband. She went right over and sat on his feet! And her first names started with “C” same as our kids. It was meant to be and we took her home right away. She is friendly, loving, gentle and even has dog friends now! She brings us so much joy and laughter and we wonder, did we rescue her or did she rescue us?
