Rules

A panel of judges will select one winner to be named the Dog Mayor of Verrado for a two year term.
The judges will base their decision not only on the number of votes received, but also which dog is the best representative of Verrado in each judge's opinion.
Contest entrants must own or rent a home in Verrado.
Contest entrants must own the dog candidate being entered into the contest.
The candidate must be a canine.
The candidate should be socialized, registered with Maricopa County and up to date on vaccinations. The candidate who becomes Dog Mayor of Verrado will be invited to attend community events as a special guest so must be reasonably well behaved. :)
Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest.
