Your Pet's Story or Bio
Our Rascal is a special girl that loves sunshine, belly rubs (it's not a fur-covered claw trap!) and shoe strings. We met her as a kitten at a shelter event. Despite the rowdy dogs and kids that ran around us, she crawled into our arms and purred... and drooled... before dozing off. We knew right away that she was the perfect mellow gal for our family.

All these years later, Rascal has proven to be a purr-fect friend and family member. She loves to snuggle with her humans and play with Paczki, her kitty sister. Her new home in Negaunee is complete with all sorts of birds and wildlife to hold her attention. Rascal loves to check out every window over the course of the day, essentially following the sunny spots. She is a very casual and comfy cat!

We have always supported animal shelters, recognizing the amazing service and heartfelt generosity that benefits so many wonderful animals. Moving to the area, one of our first goals was to learn more about UPAWS and their mission. It's amazing to see the work that is being done to benefit every creature looking for a new home. We support UPAWS because they care deeply and share their talents with compassion.

Rascal is the embodiment of a rescue kitty that found her family with the help of a supportive shelter organization. She has always felt love and safety. She represents the best outcome that a shelter cat can hope for.
