Your Pet's Story or Bio
It didn’t take much to make Rufus happy. He was so eager to receive any attention, that even just a glance in his direction made his tail wag. He loved food, to the point that I think he’d eat a rock if I gave it to him. When he got excited, which was often, his whole body would wiggle, and he was always more than willing to give kisses or rest his head on my shoulder and lean into a hug. He was a friend to everyone he met, but he was especially loyal to me. Even in a deep sleep, the sound of my footsteps would make his tail wag. He’d cherish the apples I gave him for days before he’d even eat them.
Rufus was not a particularly deep or complex creature, but it doesn’t matter. He simply loved life, and his spirit continues to inspire me.
