LUCKY TOO was born in the Vilas County, WI, animal shelter in Eagle River, WI. She rescued me when she was about 8 weeks old and from day one I realized she was unique. I've owned Golden retrievers, Miniature Poodles, and rescued three mature Chihuahuas... so LUCKY TOO's inherited character seemed predictable. However, she is only 1/4 Chihuahua and 3/4 RAT TERRIER!! The dynamite energetics of LUCKY TOO are of the highest degree; she's curious, persistent, obstinate, busy, creative, naughty, and barks at flies, shadows, and imaginary small prey.
And just as kinetic as she is during her day, her opposite personna becomes evident in the evening when it's time to rest or sleep... her sweet need to be held, whispered to, and to fall asleep in my lap is my reward for my choice of pup that fateful day!

Regarding my LUCKY TOO's chance to be seen in a calendar... she and the surroundings symbolize an essential sense of freedom. We pet parents possess the freedom to rescue a pet-in-need. And the adopted pet's freedom of self-expression security, play and movement in its new home is magical.
