Your Pet's Story or Bio
Frankie has been through some tough times: his previous owner had to surrender him, he lost his older brother Owen while at UPAWS, and he was adopted then returned. But on Valentine's Day this year, I brought this big, tufty, fluffy, yowling boy home from UPAWS. He's been a purr machine and sweetheart to all that he meets (including my Siamese tabby Theo, who is still warming up to him, albeit very slowly). His hungry yowls wake me up every morning at dawn and I wouldn't trade it for anything. He also has a "plop" button near his butt -- if you press it, he plops. It's magnificent. For 15, he's lively and spunky as ever, always hunting moths and looking for yet more pets and love.
Why support UPAWS and why vote for my pet!
I'm so grateful for a place like UPAWS that gives so many surrendered, abandoned, and homeless pets another chance. They are also wonderful about taking care of their special needs and senior citizens. When I was looking for another buddy to bring home, I knew I wanted to adopt a senior cat because so often they're overlooked. Frankie doesn't seem like an elderly guy in the least, and I'm so happy to be able to give him a good home to live out his golden years. So, vote for Frankie! He will give you a big old yowl and squelchy meow in gratitude.
