Your Pet's Story or Bio
Rhian was my first pet I got in college. We found each other when I was having a very hard time with my mental health in 2008. He provided so much more for me than I can ever explain in a paragraph. But, having someone there for you, who loves you no matter what (with endless hugs and kisses) has taught me so much about different kinds of love. I feel like my goals in life are to keep these lines of love open and share that with my community, through volunteering with Kiwanis Club, with at risk youth who need support, and just doing good deeds to keep that love infinitely flowing. Pets are part of our lives, but we are pets' whole lives....but sometimes pets do become our whole lives and I don't think anyone would say that's a bad life lived.

Why support UPAWS and why vote for my pet!
We have adopted 3 of our 4 dogs and UPAWS (another other shelters) are a great place to find "your animal!" Adoptable pets have already lived years and created their own personalities. Because of that, we are able to find a pet that is so much more than the cuteness a puppy brings. You and your pet will acclimate quicker and have necessary skills like potty training probably down pat. So, that just leaves more time for cuddles and kisses.
