My husband and I rescued Odie from UPAWS about a year ago, after seeing his sweet, innocent face on their website literally the day we adopted him. We’ve longed for years to add a canine companion to our little family, but it had never been the “right dog” or the “right time.” The moment I saw his face, my heart dropped because I knew. We strolled into UPAWS on our way home, 15 minutes before they closed on a random Sunday (sorry UPAWS staff), to see if we could just meet this boy. Thirty minutes after that, we left with our best friend! After multiple failed attempts at finding his forever home, he finally found it! ❤️ We’ve been obsessed with spending all of our time with him ever since!!

Support UPAWS because the work they do for all of the animals of the Upper Peninsula is incredible. They work tirelessly to make sure every stray finds a loving home and every lost pet finds their home. The staff truly cares that every animal finds the best suited family based on their needs. Our experiences with UPAWS have been nothing but positive and we plan to adopt from them again, when we’re ready. Please vote for Odie because he truly is the bestest, smartest, funniest, most charming boy! He wins over everyone he meets and can make friends with everyone! He deserves all of the recognition for how immensely handsome and sweet he really is! Not to mention, his smile is an instant anti-depressant! 🥰
