Pet's Story
Bear, the Aussie, came to us from a farm in central NC. Lucy, my little mutt, came from a cottonfield in Florence SC. When I found her she was a mess, with mange, bugs, heartworm, and emaciation. I was working near the area doing home visits, and when I saw her scrounging for food I couldn't look the other way. I stopped, she came to me and the rest is history! Bear was still a puppy when I brought her home, and they became best friends as she healed and slowly learned how to be a dog. They are inseparable now, and both quickly became my therapy dogs as I lost my husband just after bringing Lucy home. They never left my side through the hard grief. Bear is an active dog, with ants in his his pantaloons, and little Lucy is just as chill as can be. Together, they are Yin and Yang. I love them dearly!

Pet's Best Personality Trait
Lucy is an intuitive little soul, and knows just how and when to provide comfort. Bear is hyper vigilant, and protects our little family.

Pet's Favorite Thing To Do
Lucy, hands down, loves to eat and get her belly rubbed. Bear is the best ball-catcher and displays are sorts of calisthenics in his aerial catches!
