Pet's Story
Symphony, on the right, is blind. Blind from her birth from a stray in a TX shelter, she went from TX to OK and was on the list of dogs to be euthanized. She was picked up by a Chicago-area rescue when she was roughly a year old. They somehow saw her potential and believed that with a little investment of love and training, she could bring joy.
I met Symphony because the rescue had her train with the same place I had Mozart trained. The school knew I was looking for a fur-sibling for Mozart and thought Symphony might just fit the bill. Mozart is pretty chill for a shepherd and the trainers at the school thought he'd be perfectly fine when Symphony (at the time she was named Sweetie) stepped or sat on him, grabbed his tail thinking it was a chew toy, or pushed him aside.
This picture was their first meeting at the dog training school. Almost love at first sight (so to speak). After 1.5 years together, they enjoy playing tug and wrestling, and Mozart doesn't mind when she sits on him by mistake.
Pet's Best Personality Trait
Mozart - a total charmer. Symphony - doesn't let her blindness stop her from anything
