Pet's Story
Higgins is the epitome of what you think a lab would be. He is half American and half English. My in-laws gifted him to us when they bred their champagne lab. I chose him because he came to me first. We had recently lost our heart dog and didn't think I was ready for another dog, much less a puppy, in wintertime! He has brought me an infinite amount of joy and love. He's definitely crazy, but I love him so hard. If he had to pick his human, he would pick my husband. But, he will pick food over everything else. He's a lover of all humans, boat rides, car rides, camping and the best good boy!
He learned to get a beverage out of a cooler during the pandemic and won at his daycare for best trick! One of his favorite things to do is steal our shoes and then be chased.
Everything is edible to him in our yard and we have to protect the cucumbers every year just so we get a few too! Dogs are so special and I'm glad I didn't turn away the chance to give him a home. He's definitely meant for us.
