Pet's Story
Minnie is a special needs Persian. She originally came from people that were trying to breed/sell Persian cats out of a dirty van. One of the people accidentally stepped on her when she was a kitten and broke her pelvis. They didn't take her to a vet so it healed on its own and now she can't use her back legs. She's not paralyzed, but her back legs can't support her. When she was almost a year old my husband and I agreed to foster her after she and her parents were surrendered. She had been given dog flea medicine and it poisoned her and made her fur fall out. She was also malnourished and dehydrated. After months of care and love, she got healthy and we decided to keep her! She's very happy, healthy, and loved! She has an Instagram account (@minnie.is.magic) with over 5k followers to help raise awareness that special needs pets can live happy, healthy lives and don't need to be euthanized.
