Pet's Story
Lucifer is my 'soul cat'. My husband and I decided to adopt a cat (one cat) 12 years ago. We agreed we wanted a short-haired, grey/brown cat and found a kitten that matched that description. When we went to pick him up, the rescue organization suggested that we adopt another kitten from litter so that he would have a companion. This little orange, long-haired cat was thrust into my arms and began purring immediately. It was love at first site. I always say that the orange fuzzball picked me. He was a terror as a kitten and was promptly named 'Lucifer'. He has more personality than any other pet I have ever known. We live in 'his' house and he makes all of the rules. He loves to nap, play with feather toys, eat treats, bask in the sunshine, 'sing', purr and cuddle. He also runs security detail, making sure that nothing is out of place, and if it is, he demands to know why. His long hair poses an issue with grooming, so in an effort to assist with hair-ball control, I give him a 'haircut' monthly, which he absolutely loves. He gets very excited when the clippers come out (primarily because he receives an Inaba Churu snack). After his cut, he prances around for days showing off his 'fancy pants'. We love him so much and hope this story and picture makes you smile!
