Insight about the shot or species
This shot shows a younger spoonbill (left) being fed by its mother (right). As you can see, the offspring is not exactly a baby anymore; it is almost the same size as the mother. But it pestered her, over and over again, for food. The mom tried her hardest to evade her offspring, but in the end she gave up and fed it as if it were a chick still. This made me think how we aren't so different, as humans, too, will always be our mothers' babies, no matter how big we get!
