Your Pup's Story or Bio
Pogo came to us through a foster program. Animal control found him as a stray, with an injury to his front leg. After days of trying to capture him, they finally caught him with a slice of pizza. Upon inspection of his injury, it was clear he needed surgery, an amputation. That's right, he's a tripod. 2 weeks later he went back for his neutering. He came home with us to heal and was officially placed with a rescue. He remained with us 4 more months. During his stay his goofy personality started to show. His transport to rescue was scheduled, we dropped him off. He had a family waiting for him. Shortly after his arrival to rescue we learned that the family didn't work out & he was put back into foster. We weren't going to let that happen. So, we called the rescue group & adopted him ourselves!
