Pet’s rescue story in 500 words or less
I was left tied up to a pole at a doggie training facility on a cold January morning. The amazing trainers called Bully Up Rescue for help and they jumped at the chance! They named me Dobbie because with these ears I’m obviously part house elf! I went to foster with one of the volunteers but the rescue director knew that I was going to my furever home, she saw the hearts floating between me and my foster mom. I got settled in with my 2 foster sisters. I felt safe and happy with them, we just LOVE to play and race around the yard even though I can’t catch them with my little legs BOL! The rescue got me all medically cleared and it was time to find a new home. I met some nice people but none were like my foster mom and sisters. I already knew where I belonged. Then one day foster mom was calling us inside for nomnoms and said “Dobbie, come to Mama” and she knew, we knew that I was HOME!!! Mama called the directors and said “Dobs isn’t going anywhere, we love her too much!!” I am now living my best life! I spend my days sitting next to Mom while she’s working, playing with my sisters, snuggling on the couch, giving kisses and being happy! My tail is always thumping! But my most favorite place is cuddled next to Mom and binge watch tv shows. Mom has lots of names for me and I know them all! Dobbie Potato, Potato Tornado, Tator Tot, Dobster the Lobster, Elfinator!! I’m so loved and spoiled! If it wasn’t for the amazing network of people from the training facility, Bully Up Rescue, fosters, volunteers and vet staff I may not have found my furever home, Mom and sisters.
