- ENTER! It's Easy! Each photo entry is a $20 tax deductible donation to Tennessee Dachshund Rescue. With your photo entry, include a short bio about your furry family member(s): name, age, hometown, and year rescued or adopted, + a fun fact! (eg: favorite pastime or toy, tricks, good/bad habits, nicknames, or whatever else pops to mind that's unique to your pup. We all love getting to know their personalities, how they came to be in your family, and/or how they have impacted your life!)
- VOTE! Each vote is a $1 donation. You can vote as many times as you want!
- SHARE! Tell your family and friends to vote, too! The more money raised the more dogs we can rescue. 💜 Share and Tag us on Instagram: @tndachshund and Facebook @tndachshundrescue . **Dog with the most tags and re-posts will get a special shout-out!
- WIN! Top 13 Dogs with the most votes will each win a a featured month in The TDR 2025 Calendar - with the Top Dog (most votes=most money raised) winning our Cover Model spot, along with being the face of a limited edition beer can from New Heights Brewing Company!
For a
secured spot in our calendar, consider a
Reserve-a-Day to honor your furry family member for an
adopt-a-versary, memorial, birthday, etc. for a donation of $10. Days are first come, first serve.
Photo Entries and Voting Open July 22 - August 1, 2024.

- Photo entry must have a dachshund or dachshund-mix. PETS ONLY in photos, please - NO people. We cannot accept photos with hoomans.
- Dressing up is not necessary but appreciated! Have fun!
- Provide the highest resolution photo you can. The better to see your pupper, and for printing, - it is very important. If your photo wins and is not clear enough another entry may be chosen in its place. Please help us avoid making that tough call.
- By submitting your photo, you agree to ownership of the entry photo, to provide nonexclusive rights to Tennessee Dachshund Rescue to share the entry photo within our 2025 calendar, as well as possibly other marketing purposes including social media, educational, or fundraising campaigns; and agree to your photo possibly being digitally enhanced to fulfill the needs of the calendar and its creators.
- Photo contest entries are separate from pre-ordering our 2025 Calendar. Calendar orders must be placed separately and will still be available for pre-order and purchase after the contest ends. Calendars are also a tax deductible purchase.
- Reserve-a-day does not require you to enter the contest or voting. Reserve-a-Days are great for birthdays or adopt-aversaries, and dates are first come, first serve.
- Photo contest winners will be revealed when you receive your calendar!
- Calendars are 11x20 and will be ready within 8-10 weeks after photo contest is completed.
