Pet's Story or Bio
Gary was adopted from TDR in 2023. His name was changed and life was brought back into his personality. He's named after a family friend, Gary, who was an excellent deer tracker. Knowing the history of Wire Hair Dachshunds, the name is perfect. Gary love to hunt and track squirrels, rabbits and his biggest enemy, cats.

Although Gary is an outdoorsman, he is a momma's boy. From the day he was brought home, he has not left his mom's side. Gary loves to sleep under the covers at night in bed and is always found right by his mom's feet throughout the day. He is a gentle, funny dog with lots of personality, especially when he tries his hardest to howl.

When we go on walks, any person that passes smiles. Gary is extra short, even for his breed, and puts a giggle in every person's eye who passes.
