Valentine's pregnant mother had been found on the streets of Buffalo and was taken to a vet clinic in the City where she had her litter in August. I had lost my previous cat that summer after a long illness and when his vet had an open house Columbus Day weekend I went to support them. Little did I know that they had Val and his sisters there for adoption. The moment I held him in my arms I knew he was mine. I took him home that night and we've been inseparable ever since.
