The Last Resort rescue, a 501(c)3 charity, is holding its first online photo calendar contest to benefit the Rescue’s dogs in need. dedicated to saving the lives of homeless, neglected, abandoned, and abused animals. Our mission is to provide permanent re-homing for all the animals that we rescue. Through fund raising, education and community support, we can all make a difference in the lives of these beautiful creatures. Our rescue is supported solely by private donations, adoptions and fundraising events. Please help the dogs of The Last Resort by submitting your favorite photo of your dog and ask your family and friends to vote!
1. Submit your dog's photo with a minimum $10 donation. Photos and votes will be accepted for entry from through November 19, 2017 at 9 PM (EDT). Votes are $1 each. Those with the most votes will win photo spots in our 2018 Dogs for Days Calendar. We will be featuring 36 dogs so please feel free to submit multiple photos. Featured photos will need to be re-submitted to TLR in high resolution for the winning images.
2. Photos become the property of TLR. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. TLR reserves the right to disqualify at any time any photo it determines to be unsuitable. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you. You agree to indemnify TLR and hold them harmless from and against any claims of any nature arising in connection with the Calendar Contest. Entrants grant TLR all rights of ownership, reproduction and royalty-free indiscriminate use of entries and photographs for any purpose. By submitting a photo to the the TLR Calendar Contest the artist agrees to give and grant to TLR, its employees, nominees, agents, successors and assigns, unlimited authorization, consent and permission to publish and use, any and all information about the pet and any and all reproductions of pet's likeness (photographic or otherwise), and with or without the use or disclosure of owner's name.
3. All donations are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Donations and photo entries for this online contest that are submitted via other means (snail mail, in-person or main website donation page) will be accepted as donations but not applied toward the contest. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
4. Photos of any dog(s) are welcome. Photos can include one or more dogs. Photos with humans are not accepted. You may enter as many photos as you wish.
5. Spread the word everywhere if you want your photo to win and help us raise donations! Ask family and friends to get online and vote for your photo! Use the sharing buttons that appear on your photos' pages!
6. Prizes are available for winners as indicated in the Prizes section. The selection process will be determined by electronic tabulations under the supervision of Gogo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding. Winners are ultimately responsible for collecting their prizes from donors. TLR will assist by providing contact information for each donor. In some cases, winners will be responsible for paying shipping for their prizes.
