Cooper was on his last day at a kill shelter in Georgia with no rescue in sight. I fell in love with his face in the “urgent” album and offered to foster him if a rescue group would pull him. RAIN rescue out of Washington state stepped up and saved him. His age was estimated to be just under a year old. He is just the perfect dog. After fostering him for around six weeks, it became clear to me that I was going to fail at this fostering business because I cried every time I thought of him leaving. Yes, I failed but I also won! In the six years since, I have continued to foster and Cooper welcomes them all and makes them feel at home, before we send them on to their furever homes.
