Pepper was rescued in Georgia and rode with many volunteer drivers to reach her forever home in Maryland. She was 6 months old when adopted and spent the summer in Maine at the lakefront home of her adopter. A natural born swimmer, she loved her daily swim in the lake and ran on the Rocky beach chasing sea birds twice a week. Pepper joined Copper, a six year old daschund mix on hiking adventures along the coast, she is loving, intelligent and curious about everything. She keeps us engaged with nature and has blessed our lives.
