Gracie Lou was found walking down a country road in Georgia at 12 weeks old, and taken to Polk County Animal Shelter, a high kill shelter. Thanks to a shelter volunteer who put her photo on social media, I fell in love and arranged for a friend to pick her up for me and get her to the vet. She weighed 2.4 pounds. She’s now 3 years old and thriving in our home with her three dog sisters and one dog brother.
