I loved this gentle soul! Sully came from a high kill shelter in Georgia. He was only to be a temporary foster BUT something about him spoke to me and I couldn’t let him leave. He had a demeanor that connects to your heart. He was wise. Sully was raised on a chicken farm. Kept outside. Yet, his harsh beginnings didn’t harm his spirit. I could feel how he knew and appreciated every act of kindness. He had the ability to communicate to me. Sadly, Sully had cancer and he died in my arms. Although, we only had a few years together he will always be in my heart. Sully was that dog, the one that changes you forever.
