Hit by a car in NC at four months of age. His front right leg was broken. His elbow joint was shattered.His owner gave him up to a no kill shelter. They did not fix the leg. This beautiful dog lingered there for 10 months. No one wanted a broken dog. He received no training. He was brought to a Greenbelt, Md shelter in exchange for a pitbull who was having a hard time finding his forever home. Adopted out twice and brought back to the shelter because he was “untrainable”.
That’s when we meet at a farmers market. He came home with me and tore my house up! But I didn’t give up.. time, love, trainers, patience. All dogs are trainable. It’s their owners who need training. He’s our boy forever and he knows.
