Your Pet's Story or Bio
Bear and Mieshka were rescued by The Last Resort early in 2010. Mieshka was adopted Feb. 21, 2010 and Bear was adopted Mar. 28, 2010. A week and a half after Bear's adoption he suffered a grand mal seizure and was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. Bear is currently on two types of medicines to control and lessen the frequency of his attacks. Bear's vet says to keep on doing what we are doing because he is doing well. Bear says don't be afraid to adopt an epileptic pup because they can live a long life when you take good care of them.

Mieshka herself over the years has remained very healthy and continues to do well. We feel blessed to have them as part of our family.
