Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Gorgeous"?
Woobin (right) and Minky (left) fill my heart everyday with indescribable love and joy! Both were strays rescued from the street, but on opposite sides of the world: Woobin in South Korea in 2021, and Minky in New Jersey in 2024. Neither was in good condition, but thanks to shelters, fosters, and rescues, they received medical care and recuperated quickly. I have promised them they will never live another day in need, and I cherish each day that I'm able to fulfill that promise. At the distinguished ages of 9 and 10 (-ish) respectively, Woobin and Minky still live life with a youthful zest and innocence that inspire me. Woobin was not particularly interested in being "gorgeous" at first, but he changed his mind once T-R-E-A-T-S were mentioned. Minky was worried he wouldn't qualify as "gorgeous" because he doesn't have hind paws, but I reassured him he is actually a "shoe-in" for the title since he actually wears shoes (to protect his nubs).
