Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Gorgeous"?
Luna is an absolute love. She came to us when her original owner had a house fire and was unable to care for her. She was supposed to be a "temporary resident,” but it’s been over a year now; her original owner loved her enough to see how happy she was and how much she bonded with our other dog, and so with our pack she remains.
Luna is the baby of the pack. She’s feisty and she still very much exudes puppy energy, so there are frequent "zoomies" in both the backyard and throughout the house. Luna believes that she’s a small dog (as exhibited in the picture) and has no qualms about sitting in your lap or on your head if you’re in a prone position.
As Luna is the youngest, she’s continually learning more tricks of the trade from her older counterparts. Like our dog Gladys, Luna uses her paws as hands and tries to "box" when she is playing (not always a fan favorite if it hits you in the face, but we love her anyway). She’s also exceptionally vocal; combining that talent with her toddler-like attitude of wanting what she wants when she wants it, Luna’s invented a special trick of her own: if she doesn’t feel she has enough room in the queen-sized bed that we all share, she jumps down to the floor, faces the rest of us, and declares her dissatisfaction. Inevitably, we cave and reposition ourselves so she has more room to lie (sprawl, really) in front of us, her favorite spot.
We believe that Luna will be two in the spring, and we’re eager to see what new adventures we’ll share with time. What we know for sure is that she’s given us unconditional love from Day 1 and she inspires more happiness than we ever could’ve imagined.
