Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Gorgeous"?
Bella is a rescued, wild BLM burro. She was captured in Arizona in 2021 and transported to a holding pen near Florence, where the government keeps the wild donkeys and horses. She is dark gray, with a Nubian cross on her back, typical of the ancient African donkeys. She would have gone to slaughter, or remained in captivity for the rest of her life. We got a bonus, a foal, because Bella was pregnant when they captured her.
