Bruno
Why is Your Pet "Rescued (or Stray) and Gorgeous"?
On the eve of Christmas, 2020, Bruno was adopted into our family.
Our Bruno, a Pit Bull, was forced to fight in Jacksonville, Florida by cruel owners who were later arrested for their criminal activities. Bruno was put into a no-kill shelter and was later adopted by an elderly gentleman who bonded and trained him well with love and patience. But within two years, the gentleman passed away and Bruno was sent to a foster home.
One day, I was working on a job fixing a roof at Bruno's foster home. Bruno, being curious, climbed the ladder to greet me. Unfortunately, he could climb back down the ladder so I had to carry him down to the ground. We became fast friends. Everyday, when Bruno heard my truck pull up to the house, he would run to the truck to see me. I believe that is when I found my best friend and decided to keep him.
