Guinea Pig

A little about me...
Snickers was as happy a guinea pig as there ever was and we named him Snickers because he has all the colors of a snickers bar.

Basically all Snickers did like most guinea pigs is eat Timothy Hay all day, his fresh veggies, and relax, lounge around, and sleep.

When he felt it was his meal time and we aren't paying attention to him, he would squeak loudly and I mean really loud. Once he got a pile of more Timothy Hay and more veggies: carrots, peppers, lettuce, etc... all was right in his world. Then he would just stare at us. Sometimes he would watch the TV with us. We rarely saw him sleep because his jaws are always moving.

He liked to play in the grass outside and trim the lawn (weather permitting). My dad handcrafted a special cage for him and his buddy Romeo. The cage was shaped like and painted like a castle to show how they lived like guinea royalty.

Snickers lived for over 8 years which is amazing for an Guinea Pig. I can still hear his loud piercing squeak when I entered the room.
Last, he did shake and get nervous when he visited with all our cats (three of them). We will never forget our years and time with Snickers.
