Rules

Each photo entry can show your favorite pet or pets. It can be one or more dogs or cats. Your dog does not have to be a Barker Shop Rescue, but your pet must want to support Barker Shop rescue! We suggest showing dogs or cats that display happiness, fun, fitness, beauty (grooming), tricks, health, food & treats, toys or just a shot that makes you think to yourself “I just love my pet”. You may enter as many times as you like. The number of votes a photo gets will determine the winners.
Submit a photo of your dog or cat. Include it’s name(s), your name, address, and email, also answer “What does your dog like to Bark about” and “How Big is Your Dog’s Heart”. If you pet is a rescue, please consider sharing your rescue story.
If your photos is in the top 15 votes, pet photographer Kathy Deets will photograph your pet in her studio at The Barker Shop to create an image for the calendar. The Calendar coordinator will choose the image for the calendar. These 15 will receive an 8x10 of the image chosen. Add’l poses from this photo shoot can be available at an additional fee. Samples of her work are on thebarkershop.com.
If your photo is in the top 16-35 photos we will ask for a high quality image to reproduce for the calendar. If the quality is not appropriate we will ask the next highest vote getter. Any photo submission that does not comply with the above rules, or is deemed of inappropriate or inhumane content, will be disqualified by The Barker Shop and the Calendar coordinator.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding. Voting requires a minimum donation of $1 ($1/vote). A person can vote as many times as they like at a $1 per vote.

All photos become the property of The Barker Shop and may be used as needed at the rescue’s discretion.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless The Barker Shop and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
