What does your dog like to bark about?
Life! Brigetta, aka, Gigi, was eleven years old when we adopted her 5 years ago. She gave birth to puppies up until that time and was sickly, emaciated and discolored from sitting in bad things for so long. Brigetta came to us and watched all of us and everything for months before she budged from her little chair. She was named for the character from Sound of Music who "watches everything." and, then, one day, months after she came into rescue, Gigi ran from her chair and out into her yard and has not looked back since. She has learned agility, swimming and loving! We take her everywhere and everywhere people say "she's gorgeous! what is she?" and we say, "loved." thank you, Gigi, for teaching us that all old dogs can learn new tricks!
