Rescue takes a village, that village many times is blessed to see the full circle. Here is our Mattee’s story.
TGPR put out a notice that a senior female needed a foster family. Al and I had several senior pyrs so it would be a good foster fit. TGPR was contacted again that Mattee’s younger sister pyr was also there. Their human mom had passed & the family did not want them. It was also found that sister pyr was chipped. Holy Pyr! She was a TGPR dog. A volunteer found that Mattee’s mom had been a TGPR volunteer. We knew her! It was then we realized that the senior pyr we were fostering was Mattee! Mattee was adopted by us and has since enjoyed all the holidays many parades and events. When you are an adopted TGPR dog each day is always a “Pyrfect” day!
