Little Liz came to TGPR as a 12 week old puppy. She had profound injuries to her forelegs that involved multiple surgeries. Nearly two years later she is a cheerful obnoxious overgrown puppy! She still has an open wound on her left paw due to her uneven gait but it does not hold Liz back. I never cease to be amazed over the resilience of Liz and dogs we bring in to the rescue. They inspire me even as I am shocked sometimes by the cruelty of the world. Liz is a symbol of hope and survival.
