Patou is the gentlest creature I've ever met. He's amazing with our fosters- he can make the most scared new pup feel safe. One thing he does, to put them at ease, is whatever weird thing they're doing, like "it's ok! We all do that!" Which is how he learned to sit in the pool. I've never had a Pyr who went NEAR the pool, but Patou will just sit in there with a huge smile on his face like he is so proud of himself, so proud of this trick he's learned from one of his new friends. Have you ever seen a dog so full of innocent joy? Man. I love this guy.
