Pet's Story:
This post is dedicated to my handsome boy Romeo, we adopted him and his brother Piwo from a shelter in Waynesville Missouri, both were rescued from a hoarder house.
My husband and me had just PCS to Fort Leonardwood and he had to leave for training right away. I wanted a companion in a new town while my husband was gone, and there in the shelter, were the two beagle mixes, the last two of a 5 puppies litter. We could not take only one. So, they became our first babies.
On March 7th of this year, my boy Romeo had a silent tumor that rupture his spleen and caused him to bleed internally. We rush him to the ER but it was too late. The vet, could not help him, and we had to put our beloved boy to sleep.
One of the hardest day of my live.
Romeo has been with us through our happiest and hardest moments. He met my daughter and later on my son. We moved towns and both Romeo and Piwo have been the best dogs to our little family, playful with the kids and comforting to us. He use to push his head against my chest for scratches... I will never forget him.
Piwo his brother is still with us been the best boy on our new journey of fostering. We decided to give back the love that they give us.
