About Your Pet
In January 2022, I was caring for my clients cats at her apartment complex when I noticed a feeder friendly colony of ferals. She told me that she had been feeding them for a while so they were definitely accustomed to being fed a little dry food twice a day.
It was an extremely dangerous complex because of the traffic that would speed through the broken entry gate. My client told me that kittens would unfortunately be run over often.
My client was getting ready to move, and the complex was not allowing feedings to the colony any longer. So I paired up with a friend, and we were able to trap 10 of the cats in the colony. They were all taken to be spayed and neutered and four of them remained at my place until my client moved onto her new property.
Well, two of the strays ended up bonding with me and needless to say, our mine to this day.
Pictured is our dear Sophie. After many months of love and patience, she has made herself at home with the rest of the cats in our household, and is such a blessing to all of us.
Why Your Pet Should Be Named the Next Tally Top Pet
Sophie is a prime example of how far a feral or stray can come, with a tremendous amount of love and patience.
It’s her story that also demonstrates the overwhelming necessity of having pets spayed and neutered to avoid over population and the dangers that many, unfortunately succumb to.
