Eligibility
The Superior Chamber "Treats Not Tricks" Halloween Pet Photo Contest is open to anyone 21-years-old or older, living in Broomfield, Boulder or Denver Counties, who would like to enter their dog, cat, or other pet-like creature to compete.
Submit a photo of your pet in one of our three categories: solo pet, multiple pets, and pets and their people. Provide one sentence describing your pet's costume or Halloween "look," if you like. Photos should be digital and sharp enough to look good on the internet. Focus and good lighting will increase your photo's appeal.
There is a $5 fee to post your pic in the contest, and you automatically receive 5 votes when you enter! The $5 posting fee applies to each picture you enter.
Pet owners are encouraged to have their friends, relatives, and co-workers go to the contest website and vote for their pet. Voting ends on on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 11:59pm, MT.
Votes cost $1.00 each with no maximum on how many votes a person can buy. For example, you can give 100 votes to your favorite pet by donating $100 in a single transaction via the website and come back to the site as many times as you want and donate votes as often as you'd like.
Pet owners can certainly buy votes and grant them to their own pets, as well.
A portion of the proceeds from the fundraiser will be awarded to the Brighter Days Pet Rescue to support their work helping find pets their forever homes.
