I adopted Patty from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region when I lived in Colorado Springs in 2011. She had been a stray and was very skinny and not feeling great...but when I went into the "meet and greet room" she walked right up to me and sat on my lap...so I had to take her home :-) Since it was St. Patrick's Day, I named her Patty. She is like a little dog...follows me everywhere and wants to be involved in whatever I am doing...including the laundry. In the winter time, she especially likes the laundry right out of the dryer when it is nice and warm and toasty !
