Your Cat's Adoption Story
Beetle was abandoned on the streets of Philadelphia, emaciated, dehydrated, dirty and matted.
A good Samaritan brought Beetle to a city shelter, where vets discovered he was diabetic. Beetle was rescued the day he was scheduled for euthanasia and was transported to a Stray Cat Blues adoption center.
SCB provided him with medical care, including daily insulin injections to stabilize his diabetes.
I adopted Beetle in August of 2021 after recently losing my 13 yo cat to diabetes. Beetle looked JUST like her. He settled in well and even befriended the resident cat and dog. I lost Beetle suddenly in October 2023. Even though he's not with us anymore, I want him to be remembered as the sign of hope for all senior, disabled cats. Please cast your vote in honor of my beautiful boy. I would LOVE to see this handsome face in a kitty calendar!
