Your Cat's Adoption Story
We applied for kitten adoption through Stray Cat Blues after my father-in-law passed away, who was severely allergic to cats. One month later, a little Orange Tabby joined our family. We named him Sirius, which is the brightest star in Canis Major, the dog constellation. Sirius was adopted into a two dog household, and is indeed the bright star of our family! He is fearless and bold, and amazingly agile. He rules the roost and keeps our Springer Spaniels on their toes! His name is a reference to my father-in-law who was a planetarium teacher and astrology fan. Sirius helped us in our time of mourning, and continues to bring us laughter and joy through his antics! His favorite hobby is bird watching which he does from our porch on the Perkiomen Creek, keeping a close eye on the geese, song birds and hummingbirds that frequent our feeders.
