Your Cat's Adoption Story
Smokey was rescued from an RV, where he lived with 19 other cats, and a German Shepherd. He was brought into the SPCA on my wife’s birthday. Shortly after we brought him home, we noticed that he displayed symptoms of PTSD. I installed locks on all the cabinet doors, so he would stop hiding, and my wife worked with him. With love and patience, he blossomed into the sweetest, most caring little boy you could ever meet! Smokey alerted me when my wife stopped breathing in her sleep. Smokey is a life saver; because of him, she now has a device to ensure constant respiration— all night long. Smokey loves birdwatching, playing with his daddy, taking naps with his mama, sunbathing with his brother, and being petted and adored by his grandmother. He also enjoys teatime with his mama and his grandma. We can’t imagine life without him!
