Your Cat's Adoption Story
Harold was so emaciated when he found us that I burst into tears at the sight of his visible bones. We began feeding him as much as he could eat around the clock. Then we noticed that the pads under all of his paws were swollen out like big, bleeding bubbles. We began calling everyone we could find online to get help for poor Harold. That’s how we found SCB who paired up with Doctor Holland of COL Vet Clinic. Harold had starved nearly to death, had a bacterial infection from eating trash, and an eye so badly damaged that it could only be removed. It was touch and go for a long time, but Doctor Holland’s persistence saved his life. She and Juliane fully rehabilitated him, SCB fostered him, and my husband and I (and our cat Smokey) adopted him into our forever family, which has never been more complete.
