Why I am a Ravishing Rescue?
I met the black and white tux Barbossa as a juvenile stray in the back yard coming home from work one day, and he immediately came up to me - unexpectedly receptive to my affection. I kept an eye on him for months, and one day noticed he'd broken a fang and was covered in fleas - I decided then I wasn't going to allow the sweet boy to suffer out there, and took him under my full-time care. I got him cleaned and patched up, and he's been my best fuzzy friend since.

The tabby Calypso is a foster adopted from the Stray Cat Alliance after meeting her at a kitten bottle feeding party event. When introducing her to Barbossa, the two became instant siblings. He taught her how to be a proper cat, and she uses her youthful energy to keep the big boy entertained and busy! The two are inseparable, and remain a positive part of each other's comfortable, safe, and happy lives. Meanwhile, she is absolutely overflowing with love for her family, and follows us everywhere we go.
