Rules

To enter the contest you must register using your personal email address and a password of your choice.

Submit your pet's photo for FREE and vote until Monday, October 30, 2017 at 9 PM. Votes are $1 and you must purchase a minimum of 5 votes at a time.

All entries are automatically approved for voting, but can be subject to review, editing, and removal by the St Paul Animal Shelter.Photos may contain more than one pet, but no humans please!

Entries must be submitted by the owner of the pet, or with permission of the owner. If the photo was taken by someone other than the owner, permission must be granted from the person who owns the photo. It is the responsibility of the person submitting the photo to make sure that permissions are in place. Each $1 donation counts as a vote for that photo and donations are non-refundable. We encourage you to share the contest link via email and all social media options with your family and friends so that you may win a prize

To ensure that we are able to use your photo for publication, please make sure that you submit a digital photo only with a file size of 2 MB or higher. (Regular photos developed from film and scanned generally will not result in a high enough quality to print and include in the calendar).

File sizes are automatically reduced when submitted to the live voting site, so at the end of the contest, the winning entries must email the original photo submitted to pawsofgold@live.ca within 5 days of the contest end in order for it to be able to be included in the calendar.

If you are one of the top 12 winners, and the photo you submitted is poor quality (will not reproduce well in the calendar) and cannot be sufficiently improved for publication, we will alert you and give you an opportunity to send in a replacement photo of the same pet(s).
