Grand Prize: One (1) Winner

The Grand Prize Winner will be the contestant which garners the highest number of votes. The winner will be crowned the "Coolest St Patty's Day Dog – 2019" and will become a special guest of The Monument Hill Kiwanis Club at one of the largest small town parades in America. The Parade takes place each Independence Day since 1970, in Monument, Colorado. The winner and family will be afforded an opportunity to take an important position near the front of this 100 element Parade honoring our country. If you chose to march in the parade, you'll be introduced to the more than 15,000 spectators with a banner carried in front of you. And, at the reviewing stand you and your dog will be introduced by the Official Parade Announcer as: The Grand Prize Winner and the "Coolest Saint Patrick's Day DOG - 2019.
In addition to the above there will also be a sizable trophy awarded to signify your achievement.
You'll also receive a $100 GIFT CERTIFICATE.
In addition, the Winner's picture will also be displayed in our 12 month calendar. (At your month of choice.)

Other Prizes:

1^st Runner-up:
The contestant that garners the 2^nd highest number of votes will become the First Runner-up. Their dog's picture will be presented in one of the 11 remaining months of your choice.

The 1^st Runner-up will receive a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE.

In the event the Grand Prize Winner is unable to attend the 4^th of July Parade the 1^st Runner-up will be afforded the 1^st opportunity to take their place of honor in Monument, CO/ Independence Day Parade.
2nd Runner-up:
The contestant that garners the 3rd highest number of votes will become the Second Runner-up. Their dog's picture will be presented in one of the 10 remaining months of your choice.

The 2nd Runner-up will also receive a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE.

In the event the Grand Prize Winner and the 1^st Runner-up are unable to attend the 4^th of July Parade the 2nd Runner-up will be afforded the opportunity to take their place of honor in the 2019 Monument, CO/ Independence Day Parade.
Honorable Mention:
Contestants who obtain the 4^th through the 12^th highest number of votes. Will have their dogs' picture represented at each of the remaining 9 months of the Calendar.
Additional Awards:
Any St. Patty's Day Dog Contestant, who Garners 300 or more votes, will be extended an invitation to march as a group in the 2019, 4^th of July Parade.
