Dog's Story
Rue was rescued at 8 weeks of age by her previous family. 2 yrs later they were moving out of state and couldn't take her. A friend asked if I was still looking for a dog. My best friend of 43 yrs, Mary, who lives across the street from me, and I decided to just "try" her out for the day. As you might guess that was all it took. We now share her; Mary and Joe have her most of the time, they bathe her. I walk her and brush her teeth. We all just love her. She loves riding in the car even if just around the block. She is very bright, precocious, loves people and her cousin dog "Lily", living just blocks away . She is super adaptable yet a tad bit stubborn, especially with giving up her toys. We can't imagine "our households" without her.
